Yes, as far as I'm aware, you have to make 10 posts on other threads, not have 10 people post on your thread. It's to get google to think there's more activity than there is, so that it gets higher up in the search algorithm

I'm guessing it's so that it flags google letting them know they have a large amount of posters, so google thinks its a good site. (PS, as far as I've seen so far, it's trash. But I can't see very far because I have to post another 8 posts or something dumb.)

Honestly, this is stupid. All of the download links require you to post to see them. In order to post, you have to post 10 times elsewhere on the forum. I don't care about elsewhere on the forums until I download a source. wtf is this forum's problem? Like, I just want to download a private server, and play. Is that so hard? My name's Kart, I'm 26. I just recently got reminded of the nostalgia of playing RS. I don't really want to deal with other people/paying jagex/microtransactions, but I still want to go through the content in rs. I think I want to play rs3, but OSRS could be fun to play too. I'm not 100% sure what I'm looking for here, but I just want to make a server for me and some friends to goof around in. Speaking of, if anyone has a specific release that they think is top quality that isn't that hard to setup, please send it my way!
